Original universe got GaBoom!!!

 The voice come now from Rat-totem first it was echoing many voices from everywhere but then it catcher up to one voice directly from the totem. 

Totem:

--“You great hero, from world long gone, the universe never was.”

--“You are the chosen one to make the book.”

Totem speaks mysteries, also others things, but mostly otherworldly ancient mysteries.

There was a night, but poodle name Fife that has pink bow and a fine trim, did not come out it’s light blue doghouse. Every other night it been barked lot, but this night it not even appear.

But then it come out the doghouse and walk on crass and sniff a bone. Then she drink from titular cup.

Then it start to howl.

Lay be make totem from an old beard hide, stitched it together to represent of a big rat and fill it belly, by all those small critters he bee hunting, they are like inner organs.

Its smell rotting and sulphur because old dead things.

Lay:

--“Is this body a good.”

RatRat:

--“I don’t know, must test. This is the first time for me too.”

Then one time he return to the Pray Room, and a house he got groceries, that, smelly little thing has start living, it totem, it sniffing air, look very animal, look untamed uncaring, when it speak it feel like dubbed, It talk following:

--“Slowly I heal out this rotting smell.”

--“You a  great Hero, Ed you are, you pick up the call, the cosmic background wave white noise of reality, an ancient story from countless ions ago whispers of the old galaxy.”

The little-thing telltales of Ed the great heroes of original world...  universe... reality.

World that got destroyed in great war.

Lay:

--“Horrible war.”

RatRat:

--“What?”

Lay:

--“War is newer great.”

RatRat:

--“Yes... anyway... let me continue...

 ...and this reality and all other the dimensions and realitys be born ashes of that one first original universe and dimension, and he speak everything that were beyond longest explanation.

 But Ed was great hero, biggest of them all heroes of all time, and he, he Lay is Ed he just need to make test and reborn as Ed.

RatRat:

--“ So basically you need to do all that what Ed do in the first chapter.”

Lay:

--“First chapter of what?”

RatRat:

--“In book that you.. do.”

RatRat point the big pile of notebooks filled it magic text, Lay have write.

RatRat:

--Wery story that you do, but you cant read it it our text, kive me time and I translate it for you.

And soon little rat guy give him a tiny book, where it been explained how he become a Ed. It is like prief summary of first chapter, RatRat need go thru mighty plenty those notes to get anything coherent together.

Lay:

--“After I go this thru, will I be free this curse?”

RatRat look him like don’t understand what he talking, and be sorry same time.
